Cabin is an opinionated build and package manager for conventional C/C++ projects. It uses a declarative manifest and a predictable project model to reduce build configuration boilerplate. Cabin is inspired by Cargo where the workflow maps cleanly, but it deliberately diverges where C and C++ require different semantics. Cabin is best suited for projects that want a simple, explicit, package-oriented workflow rather than a fully programmable build system. Cabin is still pre-1.0.
